An independent power producer in Java, Indonesia, set up a natural gas-based power generation facility to supply energy to an off-taker.
Thermax delivered modular heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) designed for easy transport and quick installation, utilising exhaust heat from gas turbines. The solution enabled efficient power generation with reliable performance and faster project execution.
Challenges
- An independent power producer in Java, Indonesia, aimed to utilise natural gas for its power generation, which could then be supplied to an off-taker.
Solution
- Thermax supplied heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) in pressure part module form, designed for easy transportability to meet the customer's site requirements.
Result
- Thermax delivered two supplementary-fired HRSGs, each with a capacity of 86 TPH, operating at 92 bar(a) and 535°C. The pressure part modules were assembled with top casings and girders for support, utilising exhaust gases from Frame 6B Gas Turbines (GT). Additional offerings included O-section modules and plug-and-play configurations, facilitating quick installation and efficient operation.
