Thermax deployed advanced electrostatic precipitators to effectively treat flue gas and control particulate emissions. The solution delivered superior emission performance, helping the facility operate well within regulatory limits while strengthening its environmental compliance.

  • A leading biotechnology company sought an effective air pollution control solution to reduce emissions from flue gas of 7 x 40 TPH coal-fired AFBC boilers, ensuring compliance with regional emission norms.
Solution

Solution 

  • Implemented advanced electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) to treat the flue gas, significantly reducing particulate emissions and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Achieved emission levels below 50 mg/Nm³, substantially lower than statutory requirements. The ESP treated 87,189 Am³/hour of air, effectively controlling particulate matter and ensuring environmental compliance.
