Lean Gas Fired Boilers

Lean Gas Fired Boilers

TBWES offers single-drum and bi-drum lean gas-fired boilers in packaged or field-erected options for various industrial applications

Submit your enquiry

Lean gas-fired boilers utilise combustion of low-calorific fuels such as blast furnace gas (BFG), coke oven gas (COG) or other lean gases.

The boilers exhibit high reliability despite the challenging properties of the gas, including its slow-burning behaviour, low calorific value, and limited combustibles. They feature indigenously built burners, refractory-lined furnaces, and advanced safety interlocks. Their robust design ensures stable combustion, automatic fuel switchover, and oil-free operation between 60–100% MCR, even under fluctuating gas conditions and load variations.
