TBWES single-drum high capacity radiant boilers are offered as fully modular plug-and-play units or as partially modular components.

Optimised for high-pressure, high-temperature steam, these boilers feature a large radiant furnace, optimised circulation, and superior heat transfer. A large furnace, leak-proof membrane walls, and steam-cooled superheater supports enhance efficiency and durability, minimising maintenance with low refractory usage. Their compact, modular design ensures easy installation and maintenance, while offering exceptional load response, fuel flexibility, and operational reliability, ideal for continuous, high-demand steam environments.

Technical data

  • Product capacity / performance range

    • Capacity: Up to 500 TPH

    • Pressure: Up to 160 kg/cm2 (g)

    • Temperature: Up to 560ºC

  • Fuel type –  Natural gas, hydrogen gas, biogas, syngas, blast furnace gas, coke oven gas, purge gas, light fuel oil, heavy fuel oil, residue oil, HSD, LDO, naphtha, waste gas etc.

  • Compliance or standards followed – ASME / IBR / TRCU / PED

  • Design –

  • Single-drum configuration simplifies the construction and maintenance of boilers

  • Available in full plug-and-play configurations or as partially assembled modules

  • Flexibility or customisation options – The product can be customised based on customer needs or scale

  • Other technical information – Radiant heat transfer: Heat is primarily transferred via radiation from the high-temperature furnace gases to the waterwalls, a process highly efficient due to the substantial temperature differential

Product features

100% skid-mounted plug & play design
Ready-to-install boiler system enables quick deployment and minimal on-site setup
Multi-fuel compatibility
Supports a wide range of fuels – light oils, heavy oils, and gases – for operational flexibility
Fully drainable, horizontal and convective superheater
Ensures no water pockets remain, preventing corrosion and thermal stresses for extended operational life and consistent performance
Front wall firing for fuel versatility
Allows the boiler to efficiently combust a wide range of liquid and gaseous fuels, either individually or blended, offering significant operational flexibility
Steam drum outside flue gas path
Positioning the steam drum away from the direct hot gas flow enables rapid heating and cooling cycles, facilitating quicker boiler startup and more responsive load changes
Large furnace size
A generously sized furnace provides ample space for complete combustion of fuels, which helps to reduce emissions and ensure efficient operation
Leak-proof membrane wall design
Utilises a fully welded membrane wall construction, creating an airtight and gas-tight enclosure that prevents leaks and enhances boiler efficiency and safety
Steam-cooled superheater supports
Integrating superheater supports into the steam flow path keeps them cool, protecting them from high temperatures and significantly increasing their lifespan and overall boiler reliability
Low refractory and reduced maintenance
Minimising the use of refractory materials within the boiler design leads to fewer potential points of failure and significantly lowers the frequency and cost of maintenance
