  • A leading sugar manufacturer in Thailand aimed to cut particulate emissions to meet strict environmental norms. With plans to commission two 200 TPH travelling grate boilers, the company needed a robust air pollution control solution. The challenge lay in ensuring emissions remained well below Thailand’s stringent regulatory limits, necessitating a reliable partner with strong expertise in both boiler technology and emission control systems.

  • Thermax stepped in with a customised approach—its TBWES division provided the boilers, while the Air Pollution Control (APC) team installed two electrostatic precipitators (ESPs). This integrated solution helped keep emissions well below stipulated limits.
