WHRB in Sulphur Recovery Plant
In sulphur recovery plants, TBWES WHRB utilises waste heat to improve energy recovery and minimise auxiliary energy requirements
Submit your enquiryTBWES offers waste heat recovery boiler downstream of main reaction furnace in sulphur recovery plant and has substantial experience in designing and supplying boilers where gas inlet temperature is as high as 1,300°C.
Our WHRBs recover heat from hot process gases from the reaction furnace and tail gas incinerator. Large quantities of hot gases generated during hydrogen sulphide combustion for sulphur production are cooled primarily in the fire-tube waste heat boiler, which removes most of the heat, while the remaining heat is extracted in the sulphur condensers. This recovered heat is used to generate steam, which can be utilised within the plant or exported. Our WHRBs reduce emissions and lower operational costs by minimising the need for external fuel sources.
