TBWES offers customisable HRSG with natural circulation and modular construction.

It is designed to recover waste heat from gas turbine exhaust for process heating or power generation.
Our HRSGs feature natural circulation for low power use, gas-tight cold casing for thermal efficiency, and fully welded, single or bi-drum construction. Modular designs, ranging from simple modules to plug-and-play units, enable easy installation. Options include unfired, supplementary-fired, and fresh air-fired modes, with advanced steam purity control and optimised inlet ducting to ensure peak performance under dynamic load conditions.

Product features

Various modularisation philosophies
Options include Simple Pressure Part Module, “O” Section Modules and Full Modularisation. Our Plug-&-Play Modules simplify transport, reduce site work, and speed up installation
Flexible design options
HRSGs are offered in unfired, supplementary-fired, and fresh air-fired modes. Multiple pressure levels with reheat and integral deaerators are tailored to user needs
Natural circulation design
Eliminates the need for external pumps, reducing power consumption and common pump-related issues. This ensures high reliability and availability of the HRSG
Fully welded construction
All pressure parts are welded to headers, enabling faster start-ups and shutdowns. This supports seamless tracking of gas turbine operation
Single-drum configuration
Steam drum is placed outside the gas path to reduce thermal stress. Allows for rapid starts and stops in sync with gas turbine load changes
Bi-drum configuration
Ideal for turbines below 15 MW; features expanded tubes in steam and water drums. Skid-mounted options are also available for easy installation
Special drum internals
Custom internals ensure high steam purity (99.99% dryness) by promoting proper circulation. Supports stable performance during rapid load changes
Optimised inlet duct design
Carefully engineered ducts manage turbulent turbine exhaust for uniform flow. Prevents superheater overheating and ensures rated HRSG performance
Gas-tight internally insulated casing
Features a fully enclosed gas-tight insulated casing with stiffeners, resulting in minimised thermal expansion of the casing due to continuously varying GT loads and reduced thermal loads on the gas turbine flange
Fully drainable superheater HARPs for high reliability
A fully drainable superheater harp improves HRSG reliability by preventing water accumulation, reducing thermal shock and corrosion during startups, and enabling safer, faster operation—especially in cycling plants
