RealSteam™ is a reliable device designed to measure the steam dryness fraction. Accurately monitoring steam quality helps ensure that a sufficient heat flow is provided for heat transfer processes. 

This prevents issues like reduced heat transfer efficiency, inconsistent product quality, premature equipment failures (valves, turbines), induced thermal stresses, water hammering, and erosion caused by low-quality steam. 
 RealSteam™ provides critical insights for optimising steam system performance and avoiding losses. While performance calculations for heat transfer equipment typically assume 100% dry steam; however, actual dryness being lower can significantly impact efficiency.    
 RealSteam™ helps to ensure steam quality meets specific requirements, avoid losses due to low-quality steam, and provides triggers for non-performance of parameters like boiler water carryover or high concentrations in boiler feedwater. Additionally, it helps check the effectiveness and health of pipeline ancillaries such as moisture separators, steam trap functionality, and insulation quality.
